Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so we have designed a cancellation policy that balances flexibility and protection depending on the season and the type of accommodation booked.

Apartments in Málaga – Semi-Restrictive Cancellation Policy

For our apartments in Málaga, we offer a flexible cancellation policy if notified in advance, as we can manage new reservations relatively easily.

  • Free cancellation up to 30 days before the arrival date.
  • If the cancellation is made between 30 and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the total reservation amount will be refunded.
  • If the cancellation is made between 14 and 7 days before arrival, 30% of the total reservation amount will be refunded.
  • If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days in advance, no refund will be issued.
  • In case of no-show, no refund will be provided.
  • Date modifications: If you need to change your reservation dates more than 20 days in advance, we will try to accommodate you based on availability without penalty.

Summer House (Seasonal Destination) – Restrictive Cancellation Policy

Due to high seasonal demand and the difficulty of securing new reservations at short notice, we apply a stricter cancellation policy for the summer house.

  • Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival.
  • If the cancellation is made between 60 and 30 days before arrival, 40% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before arrival, no refund will be issued.
  • In case of no-show, no refund will be provided.
  • Cancellation insurance: We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers unforeseen cancellations for greater peace of mind.

Cancellation Procedure

All cancellations must be requested via email at contacto@theecohost.com, including the name, dates, and property of the reservation.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 to 10 business days via the same payment method used for the reservation.

Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or social media.

Important: In case of exceptional circumstances (e.g., government travel restrictions), we may assess the possibility of offering a date change or credit for future stays.
